Time Out Counselling Service Terms and Conditions of Booking an appointment.

You are asked to inform the Counsellor by telephone as soon as possible if you are not able to attend a

scheduled appointment. Please try to give more than 24 hours notice of cancellation and ensure that the

Counsellor has acknowledged your cancellation.

Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will incur the full session fee.

If you fail to attend without cancelling, you will be charged the full session fee.

It may not be possible to start a session if you are more than 15 minutes late but you will still have to pay

the session fee.

In the event that the Counsellor is unable to keep the appointment, you will be given as much notice as

possible. The session fee will not be charged and an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as

possible or to suit your requirements.

If you fail to attend an appointment Time Out Counselling Service will contact you to discuss your wishes

regarding continued counselling.

In the event of any dissatisfaction with the service it is hoped that resolution can be achieved through

discussion with Dawn, the counsellor. If this is not possible, there is a procedure for complaint available

through the professional body, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
