Confidentiality.
The information given to the Counsellor is private and confidential. The only way this would change is if the Counsellor believed that you or someone else is at risk of serious harm or if required by law. This would be discussed with you in the first instance.
Supervision.
Supervision is for the Counsellor. Supervision is necessary to ensure good standards of practice are maintained.
The Time Out Counsellor receives regular supervision from a qualified and experienced professional accredited Supervisor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Clients are not identified and all information is completely confidential.
Qualifications.
Accreditation means that the practice has been deemed to meet the standard for a competent, ethical and independent practioner. Dawn has a wide range of experience, working as a counsellor, in the NHS, the voluntary sector and the private sector.
Membership of Professional Bodies.
